Our first Trust-wide staff survey in October 2024, provided some helpful feedback and initiated discussion and action. It was especially pleasing to see the positive impact of our training event in January 2024 which was led by Alisha Thomas from Representation Matters: 88% of staff feel their school is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion and 84% now feel comfortable discussing diversity and inclusion with pupils.
Our Leadership Group, Trustees and our local governing bodies have reviewed the feedback. We have noted points for improvement. These have informed our planning. We are keen to foster a stronger sense of belonging and collective endeavour. This will be the focus for our in-service training day on Monday 6 January 2025.
We are planning a further Trust-wide survey in March 2025. We are grateful to everyone who responded and we value their perspectives. We are committed to bringing about wider improvements.
